Registering

Nothing's happened yet!
What’s wrong? You seem frustrated!
No one has registered for units in my catalog yet! What’s wrong?
You might need to model the registration process for your educators. May I show you, so you can show them?
Absolutely. You’re right; that might be the problem.
There might be another problem too.
What’s that?
Your catalog has only been live for two and a half minutes. You might need to be patient too.

Facilitating

No, no, no! There's a huge problem!
Uh oh. Talk to me.
None of my educators are talking to me. They didn’t get credit for their training units, and I don’t know why. And I was in running for Administrator of the Year!
We can’t ruin that! Let’s see, did you mark your educators as having attended the training?
Like taking roll? I took roll while we were there, but do I need to do that in Edivate?
That’s the key to your educators receiving their credit.
Ah, I see. Will you show me?
As long as you share your prize for winning Administrator of the Year!

Facilitate a Training

Check all the educators in the roster except for Kirk Stapley as having attended the PLC training in the Kuleana Academy Yearly Catalog.

Awarding Credit

Ok, so now I have a different problem. Mr. Phillips went to the training but forgot to register for it. And Ms. Gonzales completed a course we don’t have in our catalog yet; she needs credit. Yikes! Help!
Don’t worry. Those things happen. There is a way to award credit for these kinds of situations.
Whew! I was worried. So this way will help me award credit to teachers- no matter what has happened?
Exactly. And those kinds of tools are honey for administrators!

Transcripts

Great. Now, how can I monitor their progress? And what if my educators want to do it themselves?
I'm not sure I’m following you.
Well, how can we keep track of which units they have registered for, how they are doing, and how many they’ve completed?
Understood. The transcript feature can help you. Educators access their own transcript in My Portfolio but you can print school and individual transcripts through Admin Tools.
